Did you know that 1 in 4 drownings in the UK involve alcohol? As part of Malibu’s commitment to Responsible Drinking, we’ve teamed-up with the Royal Life Saving Society UK, and diver (and knitter extraordinaire) Tom Daley, to raise awareness about the risks associated with drinking and entering the water.
To launch this initiative, we’ve created a fab awareness campaign that includes an iconic line of knitted beachwear featuring a very important message:

About the Royal Life Saving Society UK

If you’ve been drinking alcohol, keep your fineself out of the water. Remember to always visit a lifeguarded venue and remember to follow the water safety code:

STOP AND THINK
If you’ve been sipping, don’t go dipping! If you’ve been drinking alcohol, stay away from the water.

STAY TOGETHER
Never swim alone; it’s way less fun, and far more dangerous.

CALL 999
In an emergency, call 999 immediately! Don’t enter the water to rescue.

FLOAT
If you’re in trouble: stay calm, float on your back, and keep shouting for help!
